F.A.Q.

Dry out process

Can I use my household dehumidifier to dry out my house after water damage?

We would not recommend usage of a household dehumidifier to mitigate water damage. The most common household dehumidifier pulls 30 PPD (pints per day). Our commercial dehumidifiers can remove up to 130 PPD (pints per day) per unit. Usage of a commercial dehumidifier can mitigate residual damage faster and more completely.

Did You Know: Water damage can happen fast! The flow rate of a 1/2” pipe is approximately 7 gallons per minute.

Is there a way to dry out hardwood floors after water damage has occurred?

Yes! We utilize Injectidry floor drying systems specifically designed to extract moisture from hardwood floors and subfloors to assist in returning the floors to proper conditions. Through usage of our Injectidry systems, we are able to save most floors.
